Dry Erase Menu Board

I finally did a craft!! Yahoo, it's been awhile! Even better, I crafted with a friend which ALWAYS makes projects so much more fun. We saw this idea for a Dry Erase Menu Board via Pinterest/Make and Takes and knew we had to make one for ourselves!

This project was super fun and EASY! I have been dying to get myself organized when it comes to menu planning and I think this board is a step in the right direction. 

All you need is a frame {got mine at the $ store}

scrapbook paper

paint, ribbon, vinyl {optional}

If you don't want your days of the week vinyl, you can always hand write them.

For mine, I decided to glue some magnets on the back so it can go on my fridge! I love love love it!!!

Grocery Bag Holder

Ok so I have been nesting like crazy over here.

  I stayed put all day yesterday due to some gross winter weather and began attacking 

areas of my house that needed a little organization!! 

One that was at the top of my list was the pantry.

After cleaning up the pantry, I saw this major problem lurking in the corner...

I was having a serious problem.....

 grocery bags were spilling out of this bag and taking up SO much space.

I remember seeing a tutorial here at Make it and Love It

(you can also see some cute examples here too!)

and decided I better make one for myself that night!

I must say this was one of my favorite projects..... weird because it's a grocery bag holder and will just be hanging out in the pantry......but it was a lot of fun to make!!! (and SUPER EASY!!!)

Travel Organizer

One thing that drives me absoultly nuts while traveling is how cluttered and dirty our car can get. This would have been a great thing to have on our trip to Utah. Such a great idea that I may have to tackle before our next roadtrip!!!

Getting Organized

Yesterday was not my favorite day. 

Things just kept going wrong ALL day. 

It definitely didn't get better when we ventured to the DMV at 5pm

 (Hate that place)

My poor husband has to go BACK- passport still in Utah! ugh

I realize that most of my stress yesterday was a result of being unorganized.

I consider myself an organized person in general..... but seriously there are some areas 

where I need to shape up!

I realized the best way to decrease my daily/weekly stressors...(meal planning/ cleaning/bills)

was to GET ORGANIZED

I have been following the blog Prepared Not Scared for awhile now and have loved it!

Many tips on getting organized with food storage and daily living along with recipes, activities etc. Awesome blog. Check it out.

Anyway today I was looking at their blog and found the solution to my organization woes

I am just blown away by how detailed and perfect this is. This woman has been working on the Day Keeper for years now.  It's perfect. More than perfect. Just what I need!!!

How do YOU organize your Recipes??

I have had a problem lately and it has to do with all my recipes

They are starting to show up everywhere in many different forms and a very unorganized manner-

and I 'm getting sick of it

I have many great recipe books that I cook from all the time (this one especially-seriously the best- EVERY recipe is fabulous)

 along with some recipes cards on a flip book my mom gave me

plus a three ring binder with sheet protectors that I started to put all my recipes I printed off the internet

(but they are just pilling high on top it now)

then an occasionaly clip out from a magazine

oh and I almost forget the little recipe box that holds some cards

Seriously, it's a mess and driving me crazy!!

So I am just wondering how you organize your recipes??

What do you do with recipes you get off the internet??

Any fun/creative way of storing them??

I really wanna know!!

I will try and post some ideas I have received and how I went about organizing them all soon!!

ps- you wondering where all the St Patricks ideas are that I promised I would post....
